What started out as a jar of apricot fruit spread for a holiday boutique in 2008, to make a little money for Christmas gifts, has turned into quite an adventure. From there I went on to doing street fairs in the summer. I quickly realized that having one flavor was not enough. People wanted a larger variety. So, mango and pineapple were added, followed quickly by peach. The latest flavors are true Northwest favorites, marionberry and cranberry.

As interest grew, the product name changed to Dancing Jalapeno Fruit Spread. What started as a single jar for a holiday boutique is now in over 34 stores, from Bend, to Ashland, from Eugene to Corvallis, from McMinnville to Cannon Beach, from Terrebonne to Warrington and from Sunriver to Sisters and Seaside.

During the spring and summer months you will find Dancing Jalapeno Fruit Spread at the Redmond Friday Market, Sunriver Market, the Rhubarb Festival in June and the Culver Crawdad Festival in August. And of course you can order you jars of Dancing Jalapeno Fruit Spread on this website. Lemon Mango Spread

---

1/4 cup of lemon juice
3 tablespoons of mango Dancing Jalapeno fruit spread
​1 jigger of your best gin
​5 slices of good french bread

    1, Blend the Dancing Jalapeno Fruit Spread with the lemon juice in a blender
    2. Add the jigger of gin to the blender
    3. Spread liberally on the French toast
    4. Allow to chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving
