Dancing Jalapeno Pumpkin Bars with Jalapeno Cream Icing

As you bite into this moist pumpkin bar you will enjoy the icing that with the fruit spread is not as sweet as many icing.
 
Pumpkin Bar Ingredients
4
eggs
1 2/3 C
sugar
1 cup
vegetable oil
15 oz
can of pumpkin
1 cup
flour
1 tsp
baking powder
 2 tsp
cinnamon
1 tsp
salt
1 tsp
baking soda
 
Jalapeno Cream Icing Ingredients
8 oz
cream cheese
2 cups
powdered sugar
1 tsp
Vanilla
1/2 cup
softened butter
4 tbsp
Dancing Jalapeno Fruit Spread ( pineapple, mango, peach or apricot)
 
Method

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Using an electric mixer at medium speed, combine eggs, sugar, oil and pumpkin until light and fluffy

Stir together flout, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and baking soda

Add dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture and mix at slow speed until thoroughly combined and the batter is smooth

Spread the batter into a greased 13x10 baking pan

Bake for 30 minutes (check to see the bars are done)

Let cool completely and then cut into bars

Combine cream cheese and butter - mix with electric mixer until smooth

Stir in vanilla and mix again

Take Dancing Jalapeno Fruit Spread and with a butter knife gently swirl it into the icing mixture
