Pumpkin Bars with Jalapeno Cream Icing

Ingredients
    
Pumpkin Bars

eggs

cups sugar

cups vegetable oil
1
5 ounce can pumpkin
1
cup flour
1
teaspoon baking powder
2
teaspoons cinnamon
1
teaspoon salt
1
teaspoon baking soda
Icing
8
ounces cream cheese
2
cups powdered sugar
1
teaspoon vanilla
1/2
cups softened butter
4
tablespoons Dancing Jalapeno Fruit Spread
Method
    
Pumpkin Bars

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Using an electric mixer at medium speed, combine eggs, sugar, oil and pumpkin until light and fluffy.

Stir together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and baking soda. Add dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture and mix at low speed until thoroughly combined and batter is smooth.

Spread the batter into a greased 13 x 10 baking pan

Bake 30 minutes. (Check to see that the bars are done)

Let cool completely and cut into bars.
    
Icing

Combine cream cheese and butter and mix with electric mixer until smooth.

Add sugar and mix on low until combined.

Stir in vanilla and mix again.

Take 4 tablespoons of pineapple, mango, peach or apricot Dancing Jalapeno Fruit Spread and gently swirl into the icing mixture using the end of a butter knife to drag the jelly through the icing.

Spread on pumpkin bars.
